Proverbs Chapter 23

V 4-5
Look at rich celebritys. I see a story almost every day of a celebrity or athlete (not much difference), who was once extremely wealthy, but lost everything they had. they did not know of the one everlasting wealth!
Having alot of money is nothing of importance. If we are rich in wisdom, and overflowing with the holy spirit, how much better off are we than to have a couple g's in out wallet?

V 15-16, 26
Solomon says that he will rejoice when we speak the truth, that everything inside him will celebrate.
This is Solomon speaking to us/his children, but I also think this is what God says of us. He is saddened when we stray from his path, and delighted when we follow in his ways. How amazing that he loves us like a father, and even more than a father!

Alcohol is a deadly trap. It ensnares you immediately. Once you have been taken by it, it is a sever struggle to overcome it. I've truly considered never having any as long as I live. That sounds ridiculous, but I know myself, and I know how I tend to get hooked on certain foods or sweets, and I do not want to fall into this trap. It would ruin me, and I would fall away from God.

Prayer Requests
-Rest
-Calmness
-My youth retreat this weekend. Safety, Teachings, Health.
