There's Grape, and then there's grape flavored

I love grapes. they are a wonderful fruit. I also love grape candy, pop-sicles, and anything flavored as such. but I've found that nothing flavored as grape, really tastes like Grapes at all. they are a whole other flavor. You can kinda pick out that it's based off of grape, but it's very different. We as christians are the same way. We claim to be grapes, but sometimes we're just grape flavored. We go to church, listen to christ tomlin, and keep a bible in our shelves. But are we really living a life that portrays our love for Christ and his love for others? I feel like for those of us who have been christian a long time, people expect us to do everything perfectlt, and that's a hard expectation to live under.  I admit that sometimes I am grape flavored. Sometime even orange flavored (I really like orange flavored things). I do all the things I'm supposed to do as a christian. But I'm not really loving God with my heart by my actions. I want to pursue God! I want to be a grape on his vine! I don't want to be some tooth-rotting candy wrapped up in plastic. Then I'd just be hidden behind my labels. I want to be a real christian, following God with every step and doing every step with my whole heart not just saying sunday school things with my lips, but sharing God's love wit others.  I want to have so much real God in me that you could make grape juice out of me. Or atleast a sugar free Jam. I like Jam. Especially God Jam.  (And NBA Jam, for anyone who remembers SEGA)
